Over the past 11 years the Contra Costa College Culinary Arts Department has awarded more than 100 scholarships to its students to study abroad. Scholarship recipients take part in a culturally immersive and life changing experience, empowering them with invaluable skills and hands-on training. It is an exceptional educational discovery of local customs, food and history which cannot be replicated in any book or classroom. 

Contra Costa College’s 12th Annual Food and Wine Event promises an exciting and fun experience for everyone. 100 percent of the proceeds from this annual event directly benefit our culinary students by funding travel abroad scholarships. Don’t miss out on your opportunity to make these life-changing experiences possible.

On April 28th, 2019, more than 40 popular restaurants and wineries will unite with our students to present their selections of culinary excellence. Guests will enjoy samples of signature dishes and beverages from some of the best restaurants and wineries in the Bay Area, coupled with the enthusiasm and hospitality of our students. Both a silent and live auction, cake raffles and our famous Tree of Abundance will be featured at this event alongside live music.
